Habitat for Humanity, UW Oshkosh Chapter is located at the Gathering Place. Habitat meets every other Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Our chapter helps to build houses for those in need, those who otherwise would not have been able to afford a home. Students from our chapter have played a large roll in building 7 houses in Oshkosh.

Not quite raising the roof, but instead raising a wall in Kansas City.

The families who will receive homes work with the students in the construction, so a nice connection develops between the giving and receiving parties.

Building takes place on Saturday mornings. Volunteers are welcome - no experience is necessary. We also have a week-long building retreat with students from other campuses during Spring Break.
